If you’ve bought the car, you want it to get 'from A to B’

And the same with your air-conditioner - or anything you buy - you expect to get what you paid for.

This is why Poor System Design can be such an issue - it does not get you 'from A to B' with temperate air on intemperate days.

So watch out for the telltale signs of Poor System Design:
  • Unnecessary components like too much ductwork
  • Additional costs beyond the agreed quote, indicating the agreed quote may have been incorrectly specified
  • Difficult to explain ‘patch jobs’ where poor system design is visible in factors such as ‘tangled’ installations, with ‘crossovers’ and ‘overlaps’
  • Overly complicated systems
  • Unjustified technical ‘stories’, which upon closer inspection may be dubious
